A striking board handcrafted from four Irish timbers: ash, dark beech, wych elm and cherry, with the rare wych elm and cherry running as a feature stripe through the centre. The cherry is a real highlight, showing a lovely natural contrast between the pale sapwood and rich heartwood within the same timber.
The grain of each piece is carefully selected and orientated, setting the warm centre stripe against the pale ash and deeper tones of the dark beech. Treated with food-safe finishing oil for a beautiful, natural finish.
A generously sized board at 440 x 300 x 65mm and a substantial 6.4kg, built from extremely hard and durable timber that will provide a lifetime of use with the proper care and attention. A genuinely once-off piece, it would make a wonderful gift for a wedding or special birthday.
