Every board starts as a tree I’ve collected and milled myself, usually within a few miles of the workshop in Co. Longford. It’s dried in small batches, then cut and finished by hand. The grain decides the pattern — I don’t glue up anything complicated, because the timber is already more interesting than anything I could impose on it.

That means no two boards are the same, and I can tell you where the wood in yours came from.
