A truly one-of-a-kind creation, this large “Chaos” board is a bold mosaic of native Irish hardwoods — including Oak, Beech, Spalted Beech, and Ash — arranged in a striking, unpredictable end grain pattern. Every piece of timber has its own story, and together they create a board full of colour, character, and contrast.
At 50mm thick, this is a solid, weighty board designed for real kitchen work. The end grain surface provides excellent durability while remaining kind to your knives, and the mix of timbers offers a tactile richness you won’t find in uniform boards.
Handcrafted in our Ballymahon workshop from sustainably sourced Irish wood, and finished with our signature food-safe oil blend to bring out the natural tones and textures.
